We are happy to announce that the gentlemen from Our Laboratory (NL1) won second place in the SIMP National Competition – 18th edition ‘Technical Achievement of the Year 2024’, organised by the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP) in the category ‘achievements implemented in industry (P)’.
Awarded achievement: ‘Innovative electrodes for the plunge EDM process with improved service life’, developed in cooperation
with the Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Jacek Skiba, Ph.D., Mariusz Kulczyk, Ph.
and with Gemet Elżbieta Czerwieniak company from Józefów – Paweł Czerwieniak.
The developed electrodes are characterised by significantly extended durability and improved processing parameters, which enables their effective use in the tooling and moulding industry. This is further proof that our solutions are finding practical application and recognition in the technical community.
